Where is my hug, Bob???

This morning I needed a hug from Bob when I stepped off the scale lol...I wanted him to tell me that it is okay and it well get better but what I really wanted to hear him say was "did you do everything you needed to do, did you get on that scale with no regrets?" and guess what? nope I did not. I let myself be drawn into 3 slices of Carvel Cake when one slice would have done just fine. I let myself have a huge diner burger with fries and onion rings on Sunday. I let myself just eat what I wanted and not think of the consequence and the consequence is that I am 2.4lbs up this week. And that's that lol....Next week will be better...Like Sarah said (seesaraheat) "number alone does not equal my happiness".

Ayer for lunch I had a 100 calorie WW bagel (predictable) with Swiss Cheese, Pastrami Seasoned Turkey, and mustard, strawberries, and 1/2 cup marinated artichoke hearts

After I ate, I headed to the park and walked around for about 45 minutes and burned 294 calories.

For dinner I was craving some sort of dessert lol, which turned out to be 2 Kashi Honey waffles with TJ almond butter, Toll house milk chocolate chips, and a chopped banana

Made it into a sandwich yuuuuuuuuuuums

In the evening I did "Boost your metabolism" 100 situps and stretch, total 65 minutes and burned 601 calories.
This morning I did a quick workout; Jillian's Kickboxing DVD; total 25 minutes and burned 244 calories. After my workout I had 1 scoop of light muscle milk
Right now I am eating grapes with Dannon ff Activia and Kashi granola and my usual coffee
I hope this weekend I am able to stick to my points and not overeat because I really think the weekends are destroying my weight loss goals (((((fingers crossed))))))
Namaste....

  2. Yay, I got quoted, haha.

Mari, your efforts are amazing and don't beat yourself up. Sometimes the stress of sticking to a plan is what makes us gain weight, not the food we eat or the exercise we didn't do.

The weekends are the worst for me too but Sharon is right, staying positive will help. For me, staying busy helps too, boredom is the worst as far as overeating goes for me.

    You can do it!

  4. Also remember what you did do- burned at least 500 cals a day, worked out every single day unless you were sick, and ate new healthy foods. You work so hard that a little cake is ok.

How about making some major plans for the weekend? Don't let yourself get bored and call me before you do anything- yes, you can crave-dial me.

  6. I know what you guys mean about keeping busy but to be honest with ya'll after working 6 days straight all I want to do is stay home and veg out. I did find that playing with "play doh" helped me keep busy last weekend ha
