Why Am I Scared???

For the past few days I have been getting the running itch. I love to run/power walk but when I go on hiatus for a while, I tend to get scared of going back out there. I suffer from Social Anxiety Disorder and I also have horrible stage fright so to me the outdoors is the stage and I always feel like people are staring at me when I am running. I really want to run tomorrow morning and hope that I can talk myself into it because I love the way I feel when I am done. I told my friend that the best feeling in the world is when I am done with a run and I get home and I am super sweaty etc, I feel like warrior! Wish Me Luck!!!

Lunch
I ordered from Press 195 today for lunch and I was glad to see that they added some new things on their menu. Today I ordered the Grilled asparagus, tomato and fresh Mozzarella in Press 195’s famous pure maple syrup basil pesto appetizer and paired it with a side of Black Bean Hummus.

This was a perfect summer lunch; it was so refreshing, packed with flavor and not "heavy".

Have a great afternoon!

Namaste...

  1. Don't be scurred! You'll feel like a warrior during and after- and the stage, well any time I see someone working out I think "good for them"- besides, maybe you'll see some hotties along the way!

Beautiful lunch also. Since I have the day off (kinda) maybe I'll fly out and join you!

    Thanks for lifting my spirits!

Good luck with the run, just keep thinking of how good you will feel afterward. :)

  4. Good luck my dear! And remember: People WILL stare when you run. They always do. But you know WHY they stare? Because they're jealous. They're thinking, "Boy, I wish I had the motivation and strength and time to run like she's doing." And others will think, "Man, I wish I had her buns."

  6. Don't be scared! Although I totally relate and understand you, totally!!

I was scared to run outside, have a bit of my own social anxiety issues as you know, but once you face the fear and just go out and do it, the fear fades and you wonder why you were ever afraid in the first place.

I don't even notice anyone anymore and it feels awesome!

    You can do this!

    Just take that step chickie!

oh and your lunch looks awesome, I want that!!

I had a nasty salad from Cosi yesterday, don't go there for salad blah!

just do it, like Nike says.
