Eats and Workouts
Ayer for Lunch I made WW Pasta with Mushrooms, Onions, and Asparagus in Peanut Butter, Sesame Teriyaki Sauce, and Crushed Red Peppers..simply delish.
For Dinner I finally tried Campbell's V8 Garden Vegetable Soup
100 Vegetarian!
Last week when I tried the Sweet Red Pepper Soup, one of the things I mentioned was that I wished it was chunkier and this certainly was. I thought it was going to be watery and was planning to add some Melba Toast in it but after I poured it into the bowl, I knew it didn't need anything extra.
"With 12 different vegetables and a flavorful, hearty base, this is a robust take on vegetable soup. No artificial flavors. No preservatives. Just the delicious, vibrant taste of a full serving of vegetables with the nutritional goodness that goes along with it."
I enjoyed this soup but as you all know I am not a fan of Celery so that was the one thing that I did not like but if you don't mind Celery than you will love this! Butternut Squash Soup still has my heart but I can't wait to try all the other flavors. I love that all of these soups are 1 serving of veggies and low in calories; 1 cup of the Garden Veggie soup is only 120 Calories. I will continue to buy these...thanks Caroline! For Dessert I had Cookie Dough Lil Drum
This morning I was not feeling very well and almost threw up half way through my workout so I tried to keep it easy. I did 30 minutes of Kettle Bell workout and burned 276 Calories.
I could not get to work fast enough to have Breakfast! I had 2 leftover Pumpkin Pancakes with PB, Lite Syrup and 1 Banana...I warmed it all up in the microwave and my GOD was this amazingly good!
I might make some more pancakes tonight just to bring them in tomorrow lol.
One of the goodies that Campbell's sent me was a Omron Pocket Pedometer which I am trying out today for the first time . I am interested in seeing how many steps I take in one day and I like that this pedometer keeps a record of all my steps for the week and refreshes every day at midnight.
"Dual-axis acceleration sensor counts steps when placed horizontally or vertically
Counts every step quietly and accurately
Measures steps, aerobic steps, time, and distance
Calculates calories burned
Stores 7 days of information in memory
Resets automatically at midnight so it's ready to go every morning"
According to the pedometer I already took 358 Steps; this does not include my morning workout.
Have a great day everyone!
