Can You Hold The Door?

I have this neighbor in my building who is such a piece of sh*t! He is soooo rude and inconsiderate…whenever he is coming in the building or leaving, he NEVER EVER holds the door. He never smiles or say hi, he is just so FO! And the sucky thing is that we have things in common. The other day he was walking in and was carrying a Kettlebell and I was impressed/excited to see someone who is also active in my building but too bad it’s this Dark Cloud. I am assuming that he is just a miserable soul and has nothing to do with me so this post is dedicated to him “May the light in me, Salute the light in you” Namaste.

Moving on to greener pastures aka my Green Monster =). I continued the challenge and had another GM for Lunch ayer with

  • Spinach
  • 1/2 a Banana
  • 1/2 a Kashi Packet
  • 1 tbsp of PB
  • 1 scoop of Chocolate LMM
  • Splenda

For din din I baked an Apple with Cinnamon, Pumpkin Spice, and Splenda and paired it with one Morningstar Farms Chicken Tender.

And Campbell’s Butternut Squash Soup (I love this)

Together

And as always my “cookie dough” for Dessert. I may have had 1 or more servings of this….don’t judge lol

I skipped a second workout ayer because my lower body was sore and just got some rest. I have to remind myself that rest is crucial.

This morning I did 50 minutes with my Wii Fit and burned 419 Calories in 50 minutes. Someone asked me if you really get a good workout with the Wii Step and honestly it’s like anything else you do. You can ride a bike at the gym in a turtle’s pace OR you can go to a Spin Class and burn a ridiculous amount of calories. It is not the machine that sets the tone of your workout, it is YOU and what YOU put into it. So yea I can go up and down the board like an 80 year old granny or I can haul ass and run up and down like a maniac (insert 80’s Flash Dance song here)

For Breakfast this morning I had a Banana with PB and my usual coffee

I hope you guys are getting updates!!! I don’t want to lose any of my readers.

Have a great day, and in the words of Biggest Loser “what have you done today to make you feel proud"?”

Namaste…

  2. Haha! OMG, most of the people in my complex are like that. I moved here pretty recently and everyone seems pretty tight-knit and whenever I say good morning or something, I get greeted by DEATH stares. Where's the neighbourly love?! Ack.

Today I made myself proud by eating a decent amount. I am ignoring the fact that part of that included an entire squash and now I have a squash baby.

  3. Love the new look. After I read a "NYC girl trying to find her Zen", I started to read you latest post, and I was thinking, what happened to this girl's Zen. And then I got to the end of the paragraph and was relieved that you dedicated the post to the rude neighbor :) All you can do is be kind and friendly to him, and eventually this will be returned, whether it's from him or someone else.

    Lovin' the Green Monsters!

  5. Nothing :(...I actually called in sick today...although I'm not really - I just can't face the thought of going in there - my mind is all confused and mixed up . I just feel stressed with doing yoga again this weekend and hoping it's the right thing and unhappy with my job...and just want to sleep and eat and be so lazy. God i feel horrible . And it's only Thursday, so tommorow is going to be such a long day and work and then training in the evening (although that's 'relaxing' ). I think I'm just 'afraid' of it more than anything...anyways, i feel horrible but might actually just go to a movie to forget about things and try to relax :( hope your day is better girl :/

  10. thank you so much for all the great comments and regards to my new lay out...I was bored and needed a change to go with the new domain

EML, chickie you don't sound good, I am happy you took the day off. We all need a personal mental health day....it is crucial! If you don't want to do the Yoga class anymore, I honestly think you should stop. You have been battling with this for quite some time and you should be enjoying it and not dreading it. We already have to do things we don't want to, why add one more to your plate? Just stay positive chickie =)

Dawn, yay you! you are totally kicking butt today!

    Ellie, great job honey =)

Sarah, kill them with kindness lol

FFF, I try to spread positive energy even to those who don't deserve it...like HIM lol

Mo, great job chickie! that takes a lot of will power lol...I think you will love the "cookie dough"

  16. People are so weird. Don't let that guy bother you. He seems like he's just not worth your (or anyone's) time.

Love the baked apple with the chicken! I have been obsessed with baked apples yesterday. Best dessert ever.

I am proud of myself every day that I make good choices. Self control is key.

  17. You are right on! Its all about what you put into it!

My neighbors are obnoxiously rude also. There are only 20 apts. in my building and you'd think people could say "hello" when I great them.
