Food, Family, and Fun!

Hey Everyone!!!!!!!!! I hope ya'll had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I had a blast with my family. Perhaps a little too much wine was consumed (5 glasses) but the secret to avoiding a Wine Headache is to pop Aspirin before you go to sleep. Thankfully I made it home in one piece at 1am and I still managed to wake up at 7am lol. Even when I try to sleep in, I can't =/

On the Menu last night we had Turkey, Sweet Potatoes with Marshmallow, Green Bean Casserole, Mashed Potatoes with Bacon and Cheese, Cresents, Baked Mac and Cheese with Bacon, Stuffing, and Cranberry Sauce. For dessert there was Cheesecake (the one I made), homemade Pumpkin Pie, and Pecan Pie. Even though we are hispanic, we try to keep Thanksgiving very traditional and make the spanish food for Christmas & New Years Eve.

I managed to behave and only had one serving of everything and brought home leftovers =) ohhhhh and the 5 glasses of Merlot ha. I usually go back for seconds but I really wanted to break that cycle. I know I still consumed A LOT of calories but it could have been worse and I worked out before going and burned almost 600 calories =) so I am not going to beat myself up.

I took some pics with my cousins and sister...enjoy!

Namaste...

  23. Oh don't worry about a few extra calories on a special occasion.

Seriously without wishing to sound sleazy, creepy, or nothing like that, but I think you look lovely in that black dress. Perfect.

Food looks awesome, have never tried anything from a Thanksgiving dinner, sweet potatoes with marshmallow sounds very strange to me, im sure its delicious though, is it served with turkey.
