Sunday Tradition...

Good morning everyone! I am enjoying a fabulous day of laziness lol.

Before I even begin this post, I want to thank everyone for all the fabulous compliments on my last post. It was also good to hear that I am not the only one who gets compared to other people =)

I have a question for ya'll, do you get negative comments on your blog and if so, how do you handle it?
I got a negative comment this morning on an older post and all I did was delete it and just moved on. I was going to post it here but why give this person even more of my time.

Eats and Workouts

On Friday after work I did 30 minutes with my Wii Step but I got really sick and had to stop immediately. I had cold chills and got very light headed. I am not really sure what caused this. Later in the  evening I had a Green Monster for din din with Spinach, PB, LMM, Splenda, and 1/2 a Banana. I also snacked on "cookie dough" (3 servings! Gasp)

On Saturday I had such a fabulous workout at the gym. One of my fave members, Renata came to workout and I love love love working out with her because she always pushes me to go harder and vice versa. We went around the circuit 3 times and I burned 486 Calories.  For breakfast I had a Green Monster with Spinach, Oats, 1/2 a Banana, PB, LMM, and Splenda. The best part of my day at work was meeting Dana! She is 11 years old and is a member with her mom. She was such a cutie.

For Lunch ayer I made my fave PB Pasta...which is WW Pasta with Mushrooms, Onions, and Peppers in PB, Sesame Teriyaki Sauce, and Chili Bean Sauce. I am a creature of habit, what can I say lol. After lunch I snacked on Quaker Caramel Rice Snacks.

For din din I tried another one of Amy's frozen meals...this time it was the Mexican Tamale Pie. This was another hit! I loved all the fresh veggies, esp the beans. I paired it with a baked Apple cooked in Splenda, Cinnamon, and Pumpkin Spice. And for dessert I had "cookie dough". Before bed I did Wii Step with 3lb hand weights and burned 221 Calories in 30 minutes, while I watched Glee. Do you guys watch Glee? I have a serious crush on the teacher!

I tried to sleep in this morning but was up by 6:15! I held off as long I could but I was starved by 8 and decided to continue my Sunday Tradition...Pumpkin Pancakes! What a great way to start the day. I added some PB, lite Syrup, and 1/2 a Banana with my usual coffee.

I don't really have any plans for today. Sometimes I like staying home, esp when I have to work 6 days a week. Nothing is better than staying home in my pj's and catching up with my friends at the Peach Pit...ha don't judge =)

Have a great day!!!!

Namaste...

  1. I have gotten some negative comments in my day, and just like you I deleted them. If people have nothing nice to say, then they really shouldn't comment.

I love all of your food this weekend! Those pumpkin pancakes sound delicious. I like staying in sometimes too. Although I do tend to get a little stir crazy after a while...usually I take a little walk during the day just so I get some fresh air.

You like to brave the Green Monster :) I am not a GM or LMM person, but the pumpkin pancakes do sound nice.

  6. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one obsessed with protein cookie dough!

I actually haven't gotten any really negative comments yet. But I know it's going to come someday!

What are your favorite workout videos- which burn the most calories? I need some to add to my christmas list!

  8. I've definitely had negative comments on my blog before, mainly from people who disagree with a product review or disagree about some nutritional advice I give. They are also typically people who work for other companies or who profit from the companies I am putting down. Blogs are a perfect opportunity for us to be honest and open with our feelings, therefore people will be honest and open right back. My advice is to not let it get you down, it happens to us all. Just read the comment and learn from it I guess, and yeah, don't give the person the satisfaction of posting it!

  10. Yummm.

As for the negativity, just brush it off your shoulder. Negativity stems from lack of self-esteem on their hand, and it's really nothing against you. You're wonderful!

  11. I love your sunday tradition!! I think I will be doing much of the same for the afternoon. I also may be a little jealous of your pancakes ;-)

I've never had a negative comment before. Who could have anything negative to say about you?! Hope you are enjoying your day off with positive thoughts!!

  12. Love your cute header! You know I get negative comments and they piss me off for about 5 minutes but then I just laugh it off. Like these people have nothing better to do??

  13. what did they say and were they anonymous? Anonymous people are cowards!

if they wanna waste their time writing negative comments, then that is their problem!

    why do people bother??

    You just be YOU!

  15. I was shocked to hear that other bloggers get negative comments when I met up with a bunch of girls a month or so ago.

I haven't gotten any, but if I did, I would just delete it and move on - we need to stick around positive people! :D

  16. I have not watched Glee yet, I really need to! I think negative comments are ridiculous. Don't people have anything better to do? I delete and move on. :)

  20. YES...I have gotten negative comments - and it really gets me down - I actually just mentioned it in a post I wrote...ughh... anyways, love your eats as usual :) PB in pasta ?!! GENIUS!!! And lovin' the pancakes :)j

  21. I don't get it...why would you get a negative comment? You are just about the most amazing and sweetest person ever, and you don't write bullshit. So WHY?!

Most likely that commenter was a drunk mad dog, so treat her/him like you would to a mad person: just ignore, and walk slowly away. No need to throw a huge fuss. The more you mess around with it, the more you'll get bitten. ;-)

  22. ps...

    about glee?

    I LOVEEEEEEEEEEE! this show....

  23. Best bet is to ignore the negative stuff. I deleted some in the past but now if someone doesnt like whta i have to say then screw them. They obviously have issues with themselves if they feel the need to put others down.
head up mama. this is your place you can do whatever you like.

  24. I don't watch much tv but I have seen Glee a few times and I have a crush on the dude with the mohawk, ha ha.

I've only had two negative comments on my blog and really they weren't that bad either, I know some people get much worse. It is always better to just delete and move on, those people aren't worth wasting time on.
