OMG it feels like it has been forever! I’m sorry for being MIA pero I had a pretty busy weekend and I was barely home.
We have so much to catch up so let’s just get to it.
First let’s start with Friday; for lunch I had more left over rice and beans with a Chobani Yogurt for Dessert. I enjoyed this one too but I still think Peach is my favorite lol.
After work I headed over to the GAP to get my new jacket and the damn “service engine soon” light came on. I rushed to the mechanic and they told me that my Engine needed a full tune up and it would run me about 250 bucks! So I called my dad and he called his friend who own an Auto Part Store and he told me the kit for the tune up would be 54 bucks and the mechanic would only have to charge me for labor…it was too late so he said to come back on Saturday.
By the time I finally got home, I was starved so I heated up some left overs. Apple and Cranberry Dressing with Brussels Sprouts, Slice of White WW bread, and a Morningstar Chicken Tender (only ate half)
On Saturday I worked at the Gym and I did the Circuit while I was there and burned 303 Calories. For Breakfast I had a Green Monster with Spinach, 1/2 a Banana, 1 scoop of LMM, PB, Splenda and Water.
After work I rushed to the Auto Part store to get all the things I needed for a tuneup/oil change and new Wipers. While I was there the man that worked there introduced me to a mechanic who works out of his home and who lives about 6 blocks away for me and he agreed to do the work for 60 bucks! SCORE!!!! He told me to drop my car off in about an hour which gave me enough time to go home and have some lunch.
For lunch I had WW Pasta with Onions, Peppers, Mushrooms, in PB, Teriyaki Sauce, and Chili Bean Sauce and “cookie dough” for dessert
I burned about 120 Calories walking to and from the Mechanic too =)
Later in the evening, I went to my mom’s house for dinner and a movie. My mom made Lasagna and Pudin de Pan(((((yums))))). I had about 3 slices of the pudin de pan through out the night lol. Did ya’ll see Julie & Julia? I was so proud do be a blogger AND to live in Queens! I think I am going to buy this movie and the cookbook! I want to make that beef dish =)
Sunday morning I continued my tradition and had Pumpkin Pancakes with Syrup and PB and my usual coffee on the side. This is seriously the best Sunday Breakfast lol
After I digested, I did a quick workout before heading to NJ for my nephew’s bday party. I did Jillian’s kickboxing and burned 275 Calories in 25 minutes.
We all met at my cousins house in NJ before heading to the 2nd location of the party. We ate lunch while we were there. I had Spanish rice with Veggies and Salad
We then headed to Jer Z Jump, if you live in NJ and are planning a bday party, I totally recommend this place. We had soooo much fun! I was running around the obstacle course and going down the slides like a mad woman. I even bounced around lol. I am very competitive so I kept beating my cousins lol
I wanted to post pics of the bday boy and his brothers but my cousin doesn't want their pics on the net =( so I have to respect that. The best part of the day was when my cousin asked me to be Matthew’s Godmother!!! Tears were shed!
While I was at the party, I had two bites of Pizza and Ice-cream cake.
After the party we headed back into Queens but drove really slow because the roads were super wet and we kept passing accidents. I feel bad for my prima because I kept squeezing her leg when we got close to another car “SORRY GERE”.
We ended up going to the Jardin of China for din-din. I told you guys about this place before. I ordered Steak with Onions, French Fries, and a side of White rice with Red Beans. I only ate half of my food and saved the rest for din din for tonight.
While we were there my uncle called and said they headed to this other restaurant (which they frequent WAY too much, this is their “cheers”) and told us to pass by which we did lol. While I was there I split a small piece of Flan with my mom and prima.
I did not get home until after 10 which scared me because my Morning Workout Challenge starts today.
This morning my alarm went off at 6:15 and I hit snooze but felt guilty and dragged my bum up. I managed to workout and did Boost Your Metabolism and burned 478 Calories! YAY ME! Is anyone else joining in on the challenge???
For breakfast I had left over Pudin De Pan with my usual coffee
