Eats and Workouts
Ayer for din din, I decided to keep it light. I paired some Old London Roasted Garlic Melba Snacks with Campbell’s V8 Butternut Squash Soup
These Melba Snacks were really good…I have purchased them before in the past but the taste was different this time. According to the label it has a “New Bold Flavor”. It sort of reminded me if pizza, which is never a bad thing lol
As always it is still low in Calories…
I enjoyed my din din while I surfed the net! Can I just say that I love having internet access at home…I feel like a kid again, getting the net for the first time. I have to be careful that I don’t become consumed by it.
After din din I had some Raisins and Protein Cookie Dough
This morning I did some grocery shopping before heading to work at the gym. Did you know that fresh Cranberries are NOT sold all year round??? I found this out the hard way…I think I cried a little bit. Do you guys purchase frozen Cranberries? is it the same???
I was in such a rush this morning that I forgot to put on my HR watch so I skipped working out at the gym. Have you ever heard of the saying? "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" Well that is how I feel about my workouts and my watch. If I can’t record it, then it doesn't count lol. Which was fine by me because I still had to do my Jillian workout when I got home AND all the ladies at the gym were coughing up a storm and I felt no need to share their germs.
While I was at work, I had Blueberry Chobani. If any of you guys live near a Keyfood; Chobani is on sale 4 for 5 dollars.
I was starving today at the gym and I was craving all sorts of food, most of which were not that healthy. After work, I finally settled on some Ginza! I got 1/2 a Godzilla Roll, Liki 4, and 1/2 an Octopus Salad…both of the rolls were with brown rice. This was such a good meal…
So good that I passed out on the couch while I rubbed my Buddha Belly lol.
I woke up about 3 hours later and peeled myself off the couch and guzzled a lot of water. I don’t why some people are not fond of water? I love it!
Today is day 9 of my Jillian Challenge and let me tell you that it is not getting any easier. My body is so sore today and honestly all I wanted to do was loaf on my beloved couch but instead I got dressed and worked out. Today I did her Kickboxing DVD and I Want Those Abs and burned 319 Calories in 40 minutes. This was a short workout but I really didn’t have energy to do anything else.
About 2 weeks ago I won a giveaway on Mo's page which included 2 Progresso Bowls AND a can of soup. I decided to have soup again tonight for din din and thankfully I had this one to try…Progresso High Fiber Homestyle Minestrone Soup
It is pretty low in Calories and Fat but a little too high in sodium BUT my friend told me that they have a low sodium version which tastes just as good.
I really enjoyed this soup, especially because it was so hearty. Each spoonful looked like these two…
