Where’s My Oatmeal????

I overslept this morning and I forgot to pack my Oatmeal…Sad Panda.  I went across the street to the local deli to buy a box but I’m sorry, I refuse to pay 6 dollars and change for oatmeal when I can buy it at the supermarket for much less AND the brand I want. Thankfully I was planning to have Naomi's Berry Oats this morning so I did manage to bring some Frozen Strawberries and  1/2 a Banana. I also had a jar of  PB and an Oatmeal Cookie that I was planning to have for dessert at Lunch time.

I decided to heat up the fruit in the microwave for about 2 minutes, then I tossed some PB and the crumbled Oatmeal Raisin cookie on top

I tossed it BACK in the microwave for another minute and then mixed it all together

Granted it does not look that appealing but it sure tasted good!

If you read my Previous Post you know that I found a way to blog from home (not via my phone) so I am really Happy about that! I will be off for the next few days (using vacation time before it’s too late) so hopefully everything goes smoothly.

Namaste…

  3. Rant Alert! This is why local shops close down. They can't price the same way as supermarkets. AND why should I pay more, just to give them my business, because they are local.

Looks like a nice breakfast Mari, your not a straight cereal kinda girl then! You like mixing things together huh!
