I Am A Warrior!

I had such a kick ass workout this morning! I feel A-MAZING!

I’m sorry if I may have triggered any burger cravings ayer with my last post lol…it’s nice to know that I am not the only one that craves a nice juicy burger from time to time =) Oh and I am NOT the DEVIL, Luigi!!!! lol

Eats and Workouts

Ayer for Lunch I had Campbell’s V8 Butternut Squash…this makes me feel so warm and cozy lol


For din din, I made a Mexican Salad with homemade Guacamole, Beans with Onions and Peppers, Salsa, Reduced Fat Sour cream, 2% Mexican Blend Cheese, and Lettuce…


And for Dessert I made a Fruit Salad with Tangerines, Apples, Grapes, FF Cool Whip, Reduced Fat Cream Cheese, and for some kick, Lemonade Crystal Light



This morning I woke up at 5:40 am and headed to the gym for an early workout. Before I headed out, I had 1 scoop of Chocolate Light Muscle Milk to give me some energy.

We got to the gym so early that I found parking right in front! That NEVER happens!!!! Today I did day 3 of week 5 of C25K which was 5 minute warm-up, 20 minutes of jogging, and 5 minute cool down. I ran at 5.0 with incline of 1 for 15 minutes and for the last 5 minutes, I ran at 5.5 with 1 incline…I did 2.28 Miles. I then did the Elliptical for 15 minutes and upper body; burned a total of 652 Calories. I love that euphoric feeling that I get right after a workout…I feel like Xena! lol

For Breakfast I had Oikos Honey Yogurt with Dried Fruit and PB and my usual Cafe con Leche.


Now I get to loaf around my apartment until I have to go train my client tonight. Ohhh and I might meet a friend tonight but who knows lol…

  2. i wish I had the energy to get up that early... I blame Mickey. I think when it gets nicer outside i might start doing my C25K training in the park with her as my coach. I am still coughing like a smoker. ))))lungs((((

    and i would like to get my ass back at the gym! can you start kickin my ass again?

  3. I am impressed! Warrior indeed!!!! I love exercising in the morning... 1) gets it out the way (lol) and 2) totally makes me feel like superwoman all day long. ROAR!!!!!

    Breakfast looks delish. I am obsessed with dried fruit right now!

  10. Yogurt with dried fruit sounds wonderful. I woke up at 6 this morning to hit the gym...not sure if I could make it out of bed any earlier. Nice job!

  11. I cannot wait for the weather to allow e to get back outside with the C25K since I don't have a treadmill to do it indoors. I'll have to start all over again but it will be worth doing. :)

  12. ok, so I missed yesterday's burger. The thing I actually got excited about was the fries dripping in cheese.

    Have you named your tiger yet? I think it might be a male because when it's hungry it really wants meat.

    And we're NOT suppose to feed our innter tiger (((roar)))!!. Your comment on my blog made me laugh.

    That fat free cool whip looks interesting. Is there sugar in it?

  13. I can't believe you got up so early! That is awesome. I would so do that...but I already get up at 6AM as it is. And to get up even earlier...would mean I wouldn't sleep. At all.

    That fruit salad idea is genius! Love the crystal light addition.

    early morning workouts are the best except when you have to go baaack outside all schweaty in the freezing cold haha

  21. Your so active and fit, that's awesome! I love your motivation and determination, Mari. so who is this "friend" you might meet (or maybe you already did by now). Is it a man, baby?!?!

    I love the Campbell's V8 Butternut Squash soup, but have found that the Trader Joe's is less sodium and is more fun to doctor up. It's also cheaper!!
