Worlds Are Colliding…

Hey Loves! I hope everyone had a great day! I spent a fabulous day with mi familia! More on that later…first I need to get something off my chest…

Vent Session:

You guys know how special blogging is to me, I come here because I love the support that I get from you, My Blog Family. This is my safe zone…my haven…my place to be myself..where I can say whatever I want and not feel threatened or hurt. I feel like as of lately my haven has become tainted by someone from my past. I am not going to go into details of whom this person is but I am sure they are here, reading this at the moment. So here is my open letter to you:

Dear Friend from the past;

Kudos to you and all your hard work! I am happy that you found peace with yourself and started your own adventure but I need to set some boundaries. This is my safe zone and the friendships that I have established here are very dear to my heart. I don’t want to sound cruel but please don’t use my page or blog roll as your personal reference. I have closed that chapter in my life and have even gone as far as changing my screen name over a month ago to cut ties with you. So once again, good luck to you and goodbye…

Eats and Workouts

For Lunch ayer I made myself a Green Monster with Spinach, 1/2 a Banana, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Light Muscle Milk, and 1/2 a Kashi Packet, and Splenda

For din din I had a Amy’s Organic Black Beans, Rice, & Tomatoes Burrito

I paired with some slices of Avocado…

Later in the evening I did this toning routine from Self magazine and burned 178 Calories in 25 minutes while I watched Biggest Loser.  I love how Self Magazine says that doing this routine two times takes 15 minutes…I did 1 set and it took me 25…granted I stopped to check the index cards a couple of times…

This morning I finally managed to wake up early! I fueled up with a glass of Light Chocolate Silk Milk

I then started my fabulous workout

  • 16 minute walk to gym 1.3 miles
  • 2 mile run/walk on Treadmill
  • Lower Body Toning
  • Upper Body Toning
  • 16 minute walk back home 1.3 miles
  • Foam Roller Stretch
  • Total minutes 1 hour and 45 minutes
  • Calories burned 1031 

I then showered and made a Green Monster With Spinach, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Light Muscle Milk, 1/2 Packet of Kashi Oatmeal, 4 Strawberries, and Splenda

I then met up with my mom, sister, and niece to do some shopping. First we hit up Tar-Jay and ask me how I spent $150 bucks?!?! Damn you Tar-Jay…damn you. After Tar-Jay we went to a Asian Grocery Store, my mom said the produce prices were incredible so I couldn’t pass up the chance. I am assuming this sign says “Grocery Store” but I could be wrong lol

When we first walked in, we were greeted with fresh seafood…My mom picked up some seafood for Friday’s din din

And beautiful Fruit! These looked so juicy, I wanted to take a bite of them right there on the spot. Does anyone know why they put these in those cute little baskets?

Out of all the fruit…this one stole my heart! It looked like a Koosh Ball lol!

I was looking for Brussels Sprouts but no one understood what I was saying so I used my Translator Phone Application and typed in “Brussels Sprouts” and showed it to the man and it worked! Best Application EVER!

My mom was not kidding… I walked out of there with 2 Cartons of Strawberries, 2 Avocadoes, 2 Bags of Bananas, Spinach, and a Jar of Chili Bean Sauce and only paid $10.41!

We then went to Olive Garden for Linner. I started off with some salad and a Breadstick

We ordered the Lasagna Fritta for Appetizer. Parmesan Breaded Lasagna pieces fried and served over Alfredo Sauce, topped with Parm Cheese, and Marinara Sauce

For my Main Course, I ordered the Shrimp Alfredo with Whole Wheat Pasta

I consumed about 1240 Calories which I don’t feel bad about because this WAS my Lunch AND Dinner and I burned over 1,000 this morning.

I am off to put away some groceries…
