Eats and Workouts
On Sunday night I was reunited with an old lover and our encounter was just as sweet as I remembered…Oh how I have missed thee…
I woke up and decided to do Jackie’s Workout…I really love this DVD…have I sad that already? lol. After my workout, I did 20 minutes of Foam Roller Stretching and burned a total of 385 Calories.
For Breakfast I had a Green Monster with Peanut Butter, Spinach, 2 scoops of Light Muscle Milk, Banana, Coffee, and Strawberries.
I then said a tearful goodbye to some dear friends…
My fridge broke down over the weekend and the repair man told me to defrost it ayer and he would be back today to check it out. He just left and said a part needs to be replaced but of course he does not have the part and is going to check the supply store. If they have it, he will come back to fix it mañana but if they don’t…it will take about a week before they can repair it! ((((GASP))))). Thankfully one of my neighbors moved out and I have been keeping my groceries in the empty apartment but I feel so skeevy when I go in there! I am one SAD PANDA!
Ayer I went to go see a cousin who is here visiting from Dominican Republic but no family outing is ever complete without some shopping! I seriously need to stop shopping but I couldn’t resist these two items!
I also took a picture with some HOT friends…
After shopping we went to Red Lobster for Linner. I cooled down with a Piña Colada. Out of all the restaurants I have been to, I still think they make the best Piña Colada!
I started with a Garden Salad with French Dressing
and a Cheddar Bay Biscuit…
For my Main Course I had Jumbo Coconut Shrimp with a Baked Potato with Sour Cream and Butter on the side
This morning I didn’t want to go to the scary apartment so I had Kashi Oats with Peanut Butter (minus the Banana)
I waited patiently for the sun to make an appearance and once I saw it peeking through the clouds, I put on my gear and headed out the door.
I walked to the park and then headed to the track. Before I started my run, I decided to calibrate my sensor again because it was off the last time. It is not accurately reading my runs…I ran around the track 6.5 times today and it said that I only ran 1.1 Miles which is bull sh*t! Everyone knows that 4 laps around the track equals 1 mile. I got frustrated and just stopped running on the track and found my way to the trails…this is when things got interesting. The park I run at, has a main trail and various side trails…for some reason I decided to run on the side trails and before I knew it, I WAS LOST! I kept running around in circles and basically freaking out at every noise that I heard. Finally I saw two ladies riding horses and they told me which way to go but then I got lost again! I really suck at directions…30 minutes later, I found myself out of the woods (literally). I then walked back home and did some Foam Roller Stretching.
I am so sorry for being so behind on your blogs…I haven't really been home and when I do a have a moment, I use it to study for my certification but I promise to start reading them ASAP!
