Hello My LOVES!!!! I hope you guys are having a wonderful day! Is it me or are the weeks flying by? Is this what happens when you get older…time just flies by?
Remember my goals for June? Well I am having a horrible time with going to bed early and waking up early. I can not manage to wake up before 7AM every day…sometimes I stay in bed until 9ish which I hate because I feel like the day is going to waste. I need to work on this before it becomes the “Norm”.
The other day I went to this place called Amazing Savings with my mom and niece and I brought this Silicone Pan. I read on various websites that these pans are great and since it was only 5 bucks, I decided to give it a try.
The first thing I baked with it were Chocolate and Banana Protein Muffins with Raisins and Chocolate Chips…
They tasted a little funky so I assumed it was the paper cups so I removed them. I then thought perhaps it was the pan so I soaked it overnight in soap. Fail #1
The next morning I made another attempt…this time I made Veggie & Cheddar Mini Frittatas…
These had a small soapy taste….Fail #2
Last night my niece slept over and we decided to bake Blueberry Protein Muffins…
And once again they tasted gross (Fail #3) so I ended up tossing them ALL out along with the PAN!
I am a brat when things don’t work as they should and instead of struggling with it and being disappointed every time I bake, I rather toss that Silly Silicone Pan out and go get a new one. I ruined my original muffin pan by spraying EZ Off on it and removing the nonstick surface “Oops”…I will never make THAT mistake again. Do you have silicone pans? do you like them? Or are you old school like me and prefer the steel ones?
Tuesday Night for din din I had a Green Monster with Spinach, Strawberries, 1 scoop of LMM, Splenda and Water.
And a Muffin
Ayer for Breakfast I had a Mini Veggie & Cheddar Frittata with a Muffin for Breakfast
I was feeling sick through out the day and actually napped through lunch…
For din din I made a stir fry with Mushrooms, Onions, Peppers, Garlic, Oil, Peanut Sauce, Hot Chili Bean Sauce, Red Pepper Flakes, Trader Joe’s Soyaki, and Brown Rice
I snacked on a Muffin with PB later in the evening.
This morning I made a Green Monster with Coffee, Blueberries, Spinach, LMM, and Splenda with a mini Veggie and Cheddar Frittata on the side.
And for Lunch I just had a Amy’s Cheddar Burrito for Lunch
Ayer I did a Circuit routine while I watched Jillian’s new Show.
I did 1 minutes of Each
- Jumping Jacks
- Bicep Curls with 8lb weights
- Repeat 5 more times
I then stretched for about 5 minutes and burned a total of 369 Calories in 40 minutes
This morning I did Jillian Kickboxing DVD and burned 247 Calories in 25 minutes…the best part of this workout was when my niece woke up and joined in!
I decided to start taking Vitamins since I am not eating Meat anymore. I have noticed that lately I have been getting more bruises etc. and I think it might have something to do with my iron deficiency. I am even bursting capillaries on my legs which is not a pretty sight! I am hoping these help. Do you take Vitamins?
