Big 3-0 and Oikos Giveaway!!!

Hello my loves! Today is my 30th Birthday and I want to celebrate by giving one of my readers a gift!

You guys all know how much I love Oikos! Not only because their yogurt is A-MAZING but also because they are a great company! When my car was stolen and they took all my Reusable Bags, Kristina from Stonyfield reached out to me immediately and offered to send me some new bags! For me, it is all about the small things and that is why I have brand loyalty when it comes to my greek yogurt! But I wouldn't  expect anything less from them…a few months ago I purchased Chobani yogurt because they were on sale and I actually titled my post “Oikos Traitor” because I felt so guilty. I also happened to mention that Chobani was more affordable etc. and that is when Kristina reminded me why I pay a little extra for Oikos

“Hey Mari,
I happen to come across your post about being an "Oikos Traitor" (haha) and I just wanted to remind you about why Oikos can be more expensive than other brands of Greek yogurt.
First, all of our ingredients are always all natural, but more importantly they are ORGANIC. This means we greatly reduce the impact of pesticides and chemicals on our environment and water bodies. Artificial ingredients or hormones are never in our products. On top of taking 3 times the amount of milk to make (because of our authentic straining process) all of the farmers that supply us with milk are gaurenteed a fair, living wage”

That was the last time I complained about paying extra for my beloved yogurt lol.

But I digress…

I always purchase Honey Oikos but when I read about their two new flavors, Chocolate and Caramel on other blogs, I turned into a mad woman! I looked for them everywhere and even harassed the dairy manager at my local supermarket until he finally ordered them and he finally did!

Well one of them…

I instantly fell in love with this flavor…It was not too sweet and I loved that it had just enough caramel. Each 4 ounce serving only has 110 Calories AND 10 grams of protein! And as always it is Organic! It’s made with organic milk from farms that don’t use toxic persistent chemicals and fertilizers, antibiotics or synthetic growth hormones.

They are also a great match for my homemade Muffins!

Unfortunately I am yet to find these flavors again in my local supermarket! They teased me and then they took them away again…no bueno…

BUT one of you will have better luck than me! Manisha from Stonyfield contacted me last week and offered to host a giveaway on my blog! (thanks Manisha)
