My computer has become possessed and the h, g, and Quotation Mark keys are no longer working! Thank god for copy and paste lol…I will keep this post brief before I kill someone by throwing my computer out the window!
On Thursday I went to Uno's with my Sorority Sister (yup I am a sorority girl lol). We both ordered the Lobster Wrap; Whole wheat and flaxseed tortilla, bacon, tarragon mayonnaise and shredded lettuce but had the New England Style instead, which only consisted of lettuce and Mayo.
We paired it with a Side of Broccoli and a yummy pickle…
Looks good right? NOPE! I am a brat and only like Hellmann's Mayo and this had Kraft Mayo and it totally ruined the wrap for me. I had to ask the waiter to bring me Avocado Ranch Dressing so I could mask the taste. My sorority sister couldn't believe that I could notice the difference but like I said, I am a brat lol
After Din Din we went to the TLC for dessert…I was raving to Nicole about how amazing it was and they totally let me down. how are you going to have two people working during the same shift and both don't know how to make custom flavors? My fave flavor at TLC is Piña Colada (shocker lol) and I couldn't enjoy it! Instead I ordered the New York Cheesecake which was was still good but not the same…

As well as Black Bean Burgers! I found this recipe on Women's health Magazine
Black Bean Oat Burgers
1 can (19 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
1 1/2 cups diced mushrooms
1/2 cup plain rolled oats
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 Tbsp cumin
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp vegetable oil
6 100% whole-grain buns
6 Tbsp spicy mustard
1 tomato, sliced
1 cup baby spinach
1. Preheat grill to medium. Place half the beans in a food processor or blender along with mushrooms, oats, garlic, egg, cumin, and pepper. Process until well mixed. Add remaining beans and pulse the machine until they're combined into the mixture. Form into 6 patties and coat each with vegetable oil.
2. Grill for 3 to 4 minutes per side or until browned. Toast buns for 2 minutes. Serve bean burgers on toasted buns and top with mustard, tomato, and spinach.
But I made some adjustment, I didn't use canned beans but instead used beans from a bag and soaked them over night and cooked for about 4 hours. Also, I added Sautéed Mushrooms and Onions to the mixture and only used egg whites.
First I enjoyed it with Lettuce, Tomato, Ketchup, Mayo and of course Natures Pride Whole wheat Bun
And then with grilled Onions and Mushroom, BBQ Sauce, and Natures Pride Whole Wheat Bun
I also enjoyed some comfort food…mashed potatoes (with FF Milk and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Light) with Mushrooms and Onions in Trader Joe's General Tso's Sauce
And Pancakes! Fiber One Pancake Mix with Chocolate Chips, Strawberries and topped with PB & Co Smooth Operator and Light Syrup.
I am loving these workouts!!!!!!
Thursday - I did 30 minutes of Fire 55 EZ class; I am not sure why they call this EZ because there was nothing easy about it! lol
Saturday- In the morning I did HIIT 15 Class before volunteering and in the evening I did Fire 55 EZ Class and Stretch 10 Class.
Side note: Speaking of volunteering, look who came to help out! I am a proud TITI!!!!!
Today I did Fire 30 Class, Core 20 Class, and Stretch 40 Class!
Chalene knows how to make working out, fun! C'mon the woman uses songs like Push It and It's Tricky! how can you NOT have a good time lol
Even though the Warrior Challenge is over, I have been lucky enough to still attend a couple of classes! I went to Natalia's class on Friday and it was amazing!!!!! She even called on me to lead the class in a affirmation! I was a nervous wreck but thankfully I didn't forget it lol. Mañana I will attend Darbi's class…I can't wait! And yes people, I am waking up at 4:20 in the morning to attend these classes! That is how much I love IntenSati!
