Happy Monday!!!!!! It is a rainy dreary day in the NYC but I am in wonderful spirits and I think it has something to do with my amazing weekend.
You guys know how much I love Zumba so when my friend Jenny told me about this amazing group called the SensaZao Crew coming to NYC for a special event, I jumped at the opportunity. Sensazao Crew is made up of three members, Jaz Gabriella, and Diego as well as some other people and are very popular in D.C.
The Crew describes themselves like this…
A sensation captures your senses and reaches a part of you to remind you you’re alive. Its effect is hard to explain, but easy to feel.

After checking out their YouTube videos, I could not WAIT to try out the class.
We arrived to the dance studio a little early to secure a great spot in class…
Before long the room filled up
The crew was getting ready to kick our butts
and then the dancing started!

We danced our hearts out for what seemed like forever but in reality it was just 1 hour and 30 minutes…I was drenched when the class ended and I burned 1048 CALORIES!!!!!!!!
After class, Jenny turned into a giddy school girl and asked to take a picture with the crew lol…She is the one that is Cheeeeeeeesing lol
Just when I thought my Saturday could not get any better, I went to the movies with Gigi to see Eat Pray Love and I loved it! I know it received some bad reviews but I thoroughly enjoyed it. AND I managed to behave myself at the movie w/treats! I purchased the Zap package which was a small amount of popcorn with fruit snacks and a diet coke AND instead of adding butter; I purchased the Kettle Corn Seasoning
My weekend was not alllllllll fun, I spent a lot of time doing this….
AND enjoying some great eats!
I tried the Mutli-grain bun first…which by the way is ONLY 100 calories, 5 grams of Fiber, and 1 gram of fat!
It went perfect with my black bean burger and Corn on the Cobb!
I am definitely going to start buying these more often!
When I decided to give up meat, I was nervous to see how my family would respond to this change. Thankfully I am blessed with an amazing family and they have been very supportive. Ayer I spent the day at my mom's house and I was craving lasagna…my mom is so great and made two different lasagnas one with meat and one with veggies for me!
First she sautéed the Eggplant, Broccoli, Carrots, Peppers, Mushrooms, and Onions, in garlic, seasoning, and tomato sauce.
And then layered the lasagna with veggies and part skim mozzarella and part skim ricotta
This was Amazing!!!!!!!!
AND I have leftovers!
This morning I did Turbo Fire 45 and Stretch 10 Class and felt grrrrrreat!
I refueled with Oat bran (with cinnamon and splenda), Strawberries, 1 tbsp of PB & Co crunchy PB and my usual cafe con leche
