This morning I woke up and had no idea what I was planning to have for dinner but then while I took a study break; I checked out Facebook and saw that Janetha posted that today was National Spaghetti Day!!!! I am all about celebrating a National Holiday and HELLO a holiday that promotes consuming carbs???? WIN WIN!
I knew that I didn’t want to have boring Spaghetti so I decided to jazz it up and make…
Cheesy Baked Spaghetti with Onions and Mushrooms
First I boiled some Whole Grain Pasta
While the Pasta cooked, I sautéed Onions and Mushrooms
After the spaghetti was done, I mixed it with a little bit of light butter and Part Skim Parmesan Cheese
I then layered it in a small casserole pan
I then spread the Mushrooms and Onions over the Spaghetti
And then added Marinara Sauce and some more Parmesan Cheese
I used this Marinara sauce
I then added Part Skim Mozzarella and 2% Cheddar Cheese and some more Marinara Sauce
I baked it at 400 degrees for 20 minutes and din din was served!!!!
