Adjusting…

Hello my loves!!!!!! I hope you guys are enjoying this beautiful weather (if you are on the east coast)…it has been so long since I have seen the sun that I almost forgot what it looked like. Spring is right around the corner and I am loving this weather! I have been making the best of it and walking whenever I get a chance…the other day I had to get homefries from school when I was done at the gym and I enjoyed the 3 mile walk from the gym to her school and even took a small detour so that I could sneak into the park…I was literally smiling the whole way lol.

Things have been going really great at the gym…I am meeting a lot of the members and have been doing a lot of Fitness Evaluations; I test them on their strength and endurance and I also take their measurements etc. I even trained a couple of people!!!! I am living my dream and it feels amazing! But it does not go without some minor adjustments…I feel like I am NEVER home! and when I am, I am catching up on house cleaning or laundry.

My meals have looked a lot like this…

I try to start almost every day with a Green Monster…it really helps with my energy…

I also have been frequenting my local Subway at least 3 times a week, it is bad when they know what I want without me even having to tell them…I even have enough subway points to get a free sammie! lol

The hardest adjustment would have to be, making time and having ENERGY to do my own workouts…but I have to remember that this is what I want and just do it! Today I was planning to go for a run but when I woke up it was cloudy and blah so instead I did a full body circuit routine at home. It consisted of upper; bicep curls (front and side), overhead tricep extensions, and tricep extensions in static lunge postion…lower: side squats, squats/bicep curls with medicine ball, forward lunges with core rotation while holding medicine ball, and core: figure 8’s with balance ball, leg to hand ball pass, and roll outs on balance ball. I kept my HR up between sets by doing jumping jacks, plank jumping jacks, burpees, side jumps, ski jumps, mountain climbers etc…the whole routine took a little over an hour and I managed to burn 513 calories. SUHWEET!!!!

Well I am off to take a load out of the dryer..Enjoy your weekend!!!

And stay tuned…Namaste Mari is turning 2 years old and I am celebrating by having a giveaway!

Namaste…
