#SpringToHealth Day 9 “Who is your Fitness Inspiration”

Hello my loves!!!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day and enjoying the spring weather.

I am going to get a little sidetracked for a moment. I recently lost a friend/coworker who passed at a very young age and it is so heart breaking. The reason that I am sharing this with you is because I want you to live your life to the fullest and make no excuses! You need to make yourself happy and not give a shit what anyone thinks…this is YOUR life and it is priceless.


Today is day 9 of the Spring to Health challenge and it is all about your fitness inspiration!

Do I even need to say who this is for me? If you are reading this blog you should know about my HUGE girl crush on Jil Jil! I have been following her career ever since the debut of the Biggest Loser. I sometimes don’t agree with everything she has to say but I love what she stands for and the fact that she preaches so much about healthy living and fitness. About a year ago, I had the chance to talk to her on her podcast and I am not going to lie, I was PISSED at her for making me cry and going all therapist on my ass but hey that is what she does and I should have expected it.

Here is a quick recap on the last couple of day of the challenge

photo 1We could not have asked for a more perfect day for this challenge! I made sure to get outdoors as much as possible on Friday and even trained one of my clients at the park

Since I am a PT, my gym bag is basically my every day bag. On this day it consisted of:suspension straps, wallet, makeup bag, lock, post-its (I write my clients workouts on this when I need to reference it), body fat calipers, measuring tape, larabar, nano, excedrin migraine, and my beloved gymboss timer!

Make sure to static stretch after every workout and also when you can, include foam rolling into your routine! Foam rolling WILL probably hurt as you do it, but trust me, it will pay off.
