Hello my loves!!!! I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday weekend but now it is time to get back on track and start making some new goals for the month/season! I have a few things on my mind, like:
- More yoga in my life!
- Cut back on treat meals
- AND Introducing Workout Wednesday!
One of the top excuses that I hear quite often from my clients or people in general is “I don’t have time to workout”…you know what I say “I call bullshit”. I know I know, life gets in the way etc. but this is why I am introducing Workout Wednesday. Each Workout that I post will not take you more than 30 minutes and NO GYM REQUIRED (I will always post modifications to do the workout at home)
This week's workout is all about your lower body and depending on how much time you have, you can do 2-4 rounds (3 is the sweet spot!). I called the workout “Boot Season Workout” since Fall is right around the corner and we all want to look cute in our tights and boots!!!
AND on to some BIG BIG BIG NEWS! When I started this blog, I didn’t really think anyone would read it. It was just a way to express myself and keep track of my healthy living journey but here I am, over 4 years later (Can you believe Namaste Mari will turn 5 in February!) and I am still here. And guess what? People are actually reading my rambles and I could not be more thrilled! I recently was honored by Latina Magazine; they named me one of their Top 10 Latina Health and Fitness Bloggers!
This is a huge honor for me! Latina was actually the first magazine that I ever subscribed to when I was younger. Thank you!
