Study Study Study and Workout Wednesday…

Hey loves!!!!!!! I hope everyone is keeping warm on this COLD Hump day. I went to Trader Joe’s this morning and thought my fingers were going to fall off while I waited for the bus…

One of my favorite things about Joe (besides everything) is that I can buy beautiful flowers like this for under 5 bucks.

I have been pretty busy lately with studying. My PT Certification is up for renewal in April and in order for it to stay current, I need to get 2 CEC’s (Continuing Education Credits) every 2 years. I have been taking exams for the past few weeks to earn my CEC’s…

This is what my Sundays look like
So far I have passed my exams on:
  • Corrective Exercise Solutions to Postural and Movement Dysfunction
  • Nutrition and Metabolic Syndrome/Insulin Resistance and Inflammation
  • Training Prenatal and Postnatal Clients
This weekend I am going to take an exam on Addressing and Preventing Low Back Pain (did you know that about 31 million Americans suffer from back pain at some point in their life). I think it is so important for me to stay current with new research so I can best address all my clients needs.
Speaking of clients…this morning I trained one of my favorite ladies and we focused on Back and Core and since she loved it, I decided to share it with y’all!

For this routine, you will need one heavier Kettlebell (or two lighter ones), Dumbbells, and a stability ball…

You should know all of these moves but number 9 can be confusing so here is a video that demonstrates the move. If you want a little more stability, hold on to two dumbbells instead of placing your hands directly on the floor. If you are on short on time you can complete 2 Rounds.

Have a great Wednesday loves!!!!
