Focus…

In the beginning of the month, I was watching the Today Show and they were doing a segment about choosing your word for the year and I instantly knew that I wanted my word for 2014 to be “Focus”. That sounds a bit broad so I broke it down to what exactly I wanted to focus on…

  1. Do More Yoga (which I have)
  2. Continue to build my Personal Training and Health Coaching business
  3. Blog more often
  4. Spend more time with loved ones
  5. Put myself out there and start dating.
  6. Controlling my binging (I have to say that I am doing so much better)
  7. Continue educating myself
  8. Hold a crane pose for 5-10 seconds by my birthday (July 20th)
  9. Stop comparing myself to others
  10. Loving myself no matter what!

These are just a few of the things on my list…

I am one of those people that loves to have a constant reminder so I contacted Ashley of Fierce Forward to see if she had any Focus Bracelets and thankfully she had a couple left! I got my order a couple of days ago and I love it!!!!

  1. Great post! i have been loving your blog.

I didnt set myself up with a word at the beginning of the year, but i did choose to use the words I AM more positively. I AM strong, I AM willing, I AM capable, I AM love, I AM in the now, I AM brilliant, I AM fabulous, etc etc

I also super charged my force for my intention. Intention for each practice, for each day, and for each moment. That is powerful.

    I love the bracelet!!!

stay awesome and have a wikkid week.

    Ciao

    1. Wow your comment just gave me goosebumps...it is crazy how two words "I AM" can be so powerful. Lately when I have been doing my yoga practice, I've been really trying to focus my intention and sometimes I even get emotional...does that happen to you?

  2. sure does! yoga brings out the emotions in us that sometimes we hide (on purpose and not on purpose) sometimes you may feel sad, happy, excited, mad, etc. its all part of the journey and the understanding of the self.

Ever ask yourself WHO are YOU and WHY are YOU here? we did this is our yoga training for about 10 hours each lol it was phenomenal and so powerful and also very redundant haha some people cracked some people elevated and others just left feeling a better sense of the self. If you are every unsure of your intention, ask yourself who are you and why are you here!

    1. I wish I had the "like" button on this page lol. I always have this "this is who I am" moment....it is almost an outer body experience. I sit there looking in the mirror or sitting on my mat and just think "wow this is me...this is who I am"...it is "trippy" for lack of a better word.
