Monday Morning Rambles: Sisterhood of the Traveling Journal

Good Morning my loves! I hope you guys had an amazing weekend…I felt pretty run down so I tried to rest up as much as possible. Sometimes you need to listen to your body and just press “Pause”.

Today, I want to share something with you guys that I absolutely love…

Fierce Forward’s “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Journal”

I participated in SHOTJ last time around and it was a wonderful experience, It made me dig deep into my emotions and it also released my creative juices. Here is some more information from Fierce Forward:

“The Sisterhood of the Traveling Journal is an 8 week journey you take with 100’s of women, Worldwide, to Living Your Fierce Truth Out Loud! If we all take an honest look within our selves, I assure you that we all want to let go from our tight grip of fear and defense and live our Truth. This means less hiding and more being; less fear and more daring fiercely; less burrowing and so much more living! That’s why I created Fierce Forward, to empower others to live their fierce truth, to be everything they are and want to be and to do it FIERCELY. In the 8 weeks to come, you will not only dig to uncover your Truths that you have been hiding & pushing to the back of your heart for no one to see, you will be creating some Truths and doing it side by side your Fierce sisters. Get ready for this journey of Truth, where you will learn you do not have to defend who you are and what you want, but rather, find a fierce confidence that you can let it loose and it will defend itself.”

Doesn’t that sound awesome?

You have the option to travel or keep your journal; regardless of your choice, you will still be partnered with three other ladies. I chose to keep mine last time just because my schedule is so crazy and it’s hard to make it over to the post office. Even though I kept it, I still felt part of a community and even my niece joined in and did some of the topics with me.

I am all about taking care of your body and that includes making the mind/body connection. I truly believe that journaling assists in bringing these two together.

Check out my vlog below where I talk more about SHOTJ and share some of my entries from the last time that I participated! I highly recommend this and who knows, we might be in the same group!
