As you know, I try to be as honest as possible on my site and that includes sharing my struggles. So many people only show the highlights of their lives on social media and I believe that it is just as important to share our out-takes and challenges as well. No one is perfect and we need to drop the façade.
Last week was not that great. I fell into a funk (depression snuck on up me) and of course that led to feeling like crap and mindless snacking. Depression and BED sometimes go hand in hand for me. I wonder what happened to that bag of brown rice cakes…oh yea, I inhaled it!
I managed to keep up with my workouts but my food choices were 70/30 and I try to follow the 80/20 rule. Instead of beating myself up and jumping on the scale, I picked a different route. I took the batteries out the scale, put it in the closet until my official weigh in this Friday, and decided to repeat my Oxychallenge training week.
We are so lucky because sometimes we are able to have a do-over in life and sometimes we may need 100 do-overs and that is okay as long as you don’t give up on yourself. Giving up is not an option for me Never.
Check out my vlog below and sorry in advance for the loud fan sound…I didn’t know it would be that bad haha.
