Monday Morning Rambles: Green Monster Challenge

Good Morning my loves!!!!!! I hope you guys had an awesome Thanksgiving and holiday weekend. I want to thank everyone who participated in my #NamasteTrot, it was great seeing all your photos. I will definitely be doing it again next year.

I don’t know about you but after so many treats the past few days, I am ready to press “Reset”! My body feels sluggish and bloated which I hate. Sooooo what is a better way to do this than by doing one of my Green Monster Challenges!

I decided that from now until the New Year, I will replace one meal with a green monster. I am hoping to have them for breakfast so at least this way, I can set the tone for the day and make healthier choices. Today I am actually replacing ALL my meals with a GM! This may seem extreme to some people but my body is craving it. As long as I am getting my nutrients throughout the day…I am not worried.

These are some of my staple green monster ingredients:
  • Almond Milk
  • Spinach
  • Banana
  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries
  • Truvia
  • Cinnamon
  • Egg Whites
  • Protein Powder
  • Chia Seeds
  • Flax Seeds
  • Almonds 
  • Nut Butter
  • Powdered Peanut Butter
  • Cinnamon
  • Oats

  1. After having weight loss surgery last year and being on a liquid diet for several weeks I cannot do smoothies or shakes on a regular basis. I like your recipe though :-)

    1. Oh I could never do a liquid diet..that is why I only replace one meal with it. I love FOOD too much and the process of chewing =)
