Monday Morning Rambles: It's Okay To Ask For Help...

Good Morning my loves! It is a beautiful day in NYC! It feels like a crisp Autumn morning (granted it is Spring lol).

I added some new goodies to my home gym, including a new barbell!

I've wanted one for so long and so happy that I finally took the plunge and purchased it. I also ordered some plates to go along with it but UPS is currently holding them hostage ha.

One of the main reasons that I wanted a barbell is because I want to perfect my Snatch Technique. I've been watching YouTube videos for quite some time but I know that in order for me to get it right...I need to ask an expert for help.

Sometimes we don't want to ask someone for assistance because we think that it might make us look weak and our pride gets in the way. I suffer from this at times but I decided to humble myself and reached out to my friend Jill over the weekend since she is a CrossFit Coach (I even sent her a video of me performing the snatch). 

I will be hiring her towards the end of the month so that she can coach me...I am so excited! 

If you are looking to try something new...don't be afraid to go to an expert to guide you. We have all done at it some point in our lives, driving instructor, cooking lessons, personal trainer, etc.
