Monday Morning Rambles:Trust The Process...

Good Morning my loves! it is such a gorgeous day in NYC. We have been having crummy weather for the past week, so days like this or greatly welcomed.

I am enjoying a delicious green juice in my Love Bomb Mason Jar...have you guys heard of this company before? They have so many cute mason jar, mugs, etc.! I purchased the one below as well as one that says "Today I shall be Epic"

Coming up with a topic for MMR can be challenging at times, especially since I have been blogging fooooorever and shared so much. I woke up today and was still unsure of what to talk about today but the Universe helped a sister out.

This morning I was training my client and for the past couple of weeks, she has been hard on herself because she was not seeing the results she wanted and kept comparing herself to other ladies at the gym. I've been reassuring her that she is making progress and to stop basing her success on the other women because half the ladies she points out; have had some sort of surgery (that is HUGE in my gym).

Anyways, I say all of this because this morning she finally told me that she IS seeing results and her mood was so different.

We need to stop being so hard on ourselves. If you do the work and stay committed to your goals the progress WILL eventually come. We just need to stop worrying so much about the results and trust the process. AND for the love of God...stop competing with false images.

Instead of basing your progress on a number on scale, here are some things to look for:

  1. Body Fat Percentage decreasing
  2. Inches going down
  3. Clothes feeling better
  4. More energy
  5. Lifting heavier weights
  6. Getting through a tough class!
  7. Making healthier choices
  8. Increasing flexibility
  9. Building your endurance
  10. BEING HAPPIER!
