Monday Morning Rambles: I'm a Yoga Teacher...

I don't even know where to begin because my heart is filled with so much joy at the moment and I want to share all of it with you.

This weekend was incredible...I can't believe that I am finally a Yoga Teacher.

For so long, I said that I didn't want to be a teacher because Yoga was so personal to me and I didn't want to taint it. I believe that the Universe was waiting for this moment so that I can not only fulfill something so incredible but to do it with these amazing people. This was the right moment...

Saturday and Sunday was filled with meditation, chanting, yoga, and alllll the love that my heart could handle. I had a cold all weekend but I did not let it stop me from soaking in each and every moment. I woke up every morning at 4 am and showered and prepared myself for our morning meditation which was followed by asana practice and then breakfast. Through out the day we had philosophy, more asana practice, anatomy games, and of course delicious food.

On the first evening we shared our personal stories and what yoga meant to us and how it changed our lives. I was raw with my yogi family and let them know of my personal struggles and how yoga saved my life. I honestly don't know where I would be if it wasn't for my mat and my practice.

I am so grateful for my yogi family and of course MY family for coming to celebrate this special day with me. They might not "get" yoga but they get ME and that is all that matters...they will always be my side...

I am excited to see what the future holds and with this lady by my side...I sense great things.

Check out my vlog below to hear more about my weekend and perhaps the next step on this path...
