Monday Morning Rambles: Yoga, Deadlifts, & Cooking...

Good Morning my loves!!!

The title of today's post is inspired by how someone described me this morning at my gym after looking at my Instagram page and yup that pretty much sums me up ha. This girl loves to practice some yoga, lift weights, and cook (EAT!) haha.

My yoga teacher training is sadly coming to an end. This weekend were the final days of classes and next weekend is our retreat and graduation!

One thing that I was not expecting from this journey was making a second family. In these three months, most of us have created such a beautiful bond. This Saturday, one of my classmates said that she had a surprise for me...she told me to close my eyes and then handed me a precious gift.

She gifted me her copy of the Dalai Lama's book "The Art of Happiness"...this book was given to her and has traveled the globe and now it found its way to my hands...

Little things like this make me realize how lucky I am to have crossed paths with all these extraordinary souls.

I am looking forward to the yoga retreat this weekend and grateful that my sister and niece will stay with Zen while I am gone. People always tell me "oh he is a cat; they are okay being alone" but not Zen...since he was adopted 5 years ago, we have been inseparable. I could not even think of leaving him alone for that long.

Check out my video below for some more rambles...

Do something kind for someone else today.

  1. I've been contemplating signing up for a yoga teacher's training recently. I don't know for sure if I want to teach, but I often dream of owning my own studio.

I'm glad to hear that your experience has been nothing but positive. Will keep you posted whether I join or not! Namaste <3

  2. It is best to go to a site which simulates the look and feel of a product in the most efficient manner. It also helps to visit a site where the entire gamut of products are on display along with their prices clearly mentioned.

  3. Yoga provides a unique interconnectedness between the physical, mental, and emotional levels of human body and gradually makes way for an easy understanding of various restrained areas of existence. Find more info
