I Love That Smell...

I went to the library today with my niece and sister and it smelled just like I remembered...the smell of old books and I love it! I got a library card which I can't wait to put to good use =)... It has been too long. I remember my mom taking my sister and I about once a week when we were younger and hope to do the same with my niece. She checked out about six books today; the girl loves to read.

Eats

For lunch I ordered a Pizza Slice with Spinach, Mushrooms, and Broccoli with 3 Garlic Knots.

After running errands for 3 hours... I was STARVING! For Din Din I had one cup of V8 Butternut Squash Soup and a piece of Quipe that my dad made. Quipe is Deep Fried Bulgar with Ground Beef, Onions, Whole Wheat (bulgar), etc. but my dad bakes it instead of frying..thanks daddy!  For dessert I had a Drumstick Lil Drum. Oh I got Amy's Burritos at the Supermarket...I can't wait to try it.

Right now I am trying to catch up on DVR shows before my cable box goes bye bye...hopefully the new one works properly =)

I have a question, do you guys mind that half the time I blog via my phone? I know the layout is pretty crappy but does it bug you????

Have a great night!

  1. I actually kind of like it! All the pictures first, then all the writing, with nothing to interrupt it.

The quipe sounds so good. I've never heard of it. Yum!

  2. Yay I am glad you don't mind=)

Quipe is a Dominican dish that originated in the middle east. We usually eat them as a side dish or appetizer when they are fried into little balls. They remind me of falafel but instead of Chickpeas, it is ground beef =)

  3. old books do smell good! i have a thing for lots of weird smells (books being one of them), and somehow my fiance likes 'em too-i guess that's one more way to know we work.
and no shame in cell phone blogging-if i had a phone where i could, i'd probably do it too.

  5. I agree, I like the pictures being first and then reading about them afterwards. Some blogs can get too wordy in between and I scroll down to see the pics anyway, haha.

You just do what works for you!
